Narodne novine d.d. Narodne novine*, dioničko društvo za izdavanje i tiskanje službenoga lista Republike Hrvatske, službenih i drugih tiskanica te za trgovanje školskim i uredskim priborom, sa sjedištem u Zagrebu, Savski gaj XIII. 6, samostalno su „izdavačko poduzeće“ postale odlukom Vlade NR Hrvatske, 3. srpnja 1952. Sljednik su državnoga privrednog poduzeća Tiskanica, osnovanog 1950. radi "štampanja i raspačavanja tiskanica". Uspostavom samostalne hrvatske države, u studenom 1990. godine Narodne novine postaju javno poduzeće, a 2000., temeljem posebnog zakona, registrirane su kao dioničko društvo u 100% vlasništvu Republike Hrvatske. Poslovne aktivnosti Društva odvijaju se kroz tri osnovne djelatnosti koje međusobno čine funkcionalnu cjelinu. To su nakladnička, tiskarska i trgovačka djelatnost. (Narodne novine* počele su izlaziti 1835. kao Novine Horvatzke; ime Narodne novine prvi put se upotrebljava 1843. Od 1835.do danas nikad nisu prestale izlaziti.) Narodne novine corporation Narodne novine*, a joint-stock company whose business scope includes publishing and printing of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia, as well as official and other types of forms, and the school and office supplies trade activities, with headquarters in Zagreb, Savski gaj XIII. 6, became an independent "publishing company" by a decision brought about by the Government of the Republic of Croatia as of 3 July 1952. The company is a successor of the public economic company "Tiskanica", which was founded in 1950 for the purpose of "printing and distributing forms". With the establishment of the independent Republic of Croatia, in November 1990 "Narodne novine" became a public company, which was registered as a joint-stock company with a 100% ownership by the Republic of Croatia in 2000, pursuant to a special regulation. Company's business scope is divided into three basic activities which form a functional whole. The activities are the following: publishing, printing and trade. (Narodne novine* (The Official Gazette) was first published in 1835 as "Novine Horvatzke" and it has been published continuously to this day. The name "Narodne novine" was first used in 1843.)
